Where can I buy a Leap Card?
There are two ways to buy a Leap Card.
A fully refundable deposit is payable on leap cards (€5 for adult and €3 for child leap cards) plus €5 credit top up to get you started.
How do I use a Leap Card?
Top up your leap card by clicking here or at your local Leap Card Agent, or set up your Auto Top-Up so you never run out of Travel Credit again. Click here for more information. Then scan the card when your using shared travel instead of paying with cash.
A Leap Card is a reloadable smartcard that can be used to pay for individual journeys using Travel Credit and more regular commuters can load 24hr, 7 Day, Monthly or Annual tickets onto their Leap Card.

Where can I use it?
You can use your Leap Card when travelling on Routes 301 to 306 in Limerick City. Travel Credit can be used to purchase single tickets on all these routes. Travel Credit fares are 24% cheaper than the corresponding cash single fares.
If you are a more frequent traveller you can also purchase the following zonal tickets.

24 hr - €4.40:Adult
7 day - €20.80:Adult €17.30:Student €8.70:Child
Month - €72.90:Adult €57.50:Student €32.10:Child

How much does it cost?
A fully refundable deposit of €5.00 (Child €3.00) is charged for your card and you must also top-up with a minimum of €5.00 Travel Credit.
What if I lose my Leap Card?
You can register your Leap Card here to protect against loss or theft. Once you report your stolen card within 5 days, you can order a replacement card which will be sent out to you in 5 working days.
